about

Yoko Shimomura's "Valse Di Fantastica" was all over the marketing for FFXV, and one might have expected it to be the theme that would ultimately play for Luna and Noct's reunion. Although that wasn't the case in the game, I wanted to arrange this tune with that idea in mind--that this would serve as a royal wedding tune. In this arrangement the Melodica represents Luna, Violin represents Noctis, and Piano represents the connection between the two. I searched for as many places as I could for all three of these instruments to share the spotlight and dance together, and I hope it came across in this lively & somewhat tonally unusual arrangement.
